Home thoughts from a B road
So very sweet, it is heartbreaking. She has the whole world ahead of her, and you are very lucky parents.
That was perfectly beautiful
Thank you, my Kentish friends.
Gorgeous. How old is this wee lass? What a future. Didn't you do well!
The perfect way to start the day - thanks to you both.
Amanda - She's just 21. But we both felt the song needed a sort of 'Around the Universe' innocence.Steve - Thank you. At least it's low in cholesterol!
Ooooh how wonderful is Kirsty? Her voice is just so amazing. I am going to post this on our Book Launch Plus Blog and on the facebook site. I'll send the link to Simon so he can hear this one too.
DJ - That's very kind of you. She was delighted with your links!
Every time I hear this song I love it a little bit more.
She looks much younger in this than in the other picture you posted from her recent concert. I assumed she was 15 because of the lyrics.Enough of my rambling - she is very good you know.
Just so you know....I posted the video on my facebook wall this morning.....have had seven comments alreadysaying how good it is, and one person altering their status to ' Kirsty Macleod's Cerulean Blue is a fabulous song!'
AND.......requests please to let us know if she is performing in Maidstone or nearby as there are people who would like to see her!
Mega - That's good! You were about the first to hear it.Fancy - She still has to show ID sometimes!Justme - That is so nice of you, and is very much appreciated. (I wondered why the video was getting more hits!). I'll tell her about the demand for performances. It's pretty early days, and I think a couple more small appearances will build her confidence to the point at which I can spread the word a bit more widely!.
Very good indeed. She has a lovely voice.
Blimey! i am now getting slightly embarrassed by the number of compliments that are coming into my facebook post! Am directing them to you tube to more songs.....
Excellent. And not a squeaky guitar in earshot!
This is such a lovely song, sung beautifully. A perfect way to end a Sunday evening.
Tim - Coming from a singer/song-writer, that means a lot. Cheers.Justme - You must have a lot of Facebook friends (well, more than my two, anyway). Thanks!Laura - Oh good!Sarah - Nearly (the perfect way to end a Sunday evening would be Saturday morning).
another haunting kirsty melody to add to my collection!
The mafia (slugs) doesn't allow me to listen. How did it go at the pub earlier this week?
What a talent! One day I'll be able to tell my children 'I saw it here first!'
Hattie - Thank you maam.Violet Sky - When that album comes together, she'll make sure yours is a signed one!Extra Virgin - It was a good evening, and she seemed totally at home. BT drank more beer than was good for him (and seemed totally at home).Mr Dotterel - Impeccable taste, Sir. We still have it, don't we?!
Another winner. Can't believe it's taken me a week to discover this.
Rol, I can. Reading other people's posts is a pleasure and an entertainment, but keeping up with them feels like a full time job! But glad you liked it.
I was just watching again... Just wondered- did you/Kirsty sync the audio over the video or was it what was recorded by the camcorder?
Queenie - Clever you. We synched over (or tried). You Tube's apt to mess up the synching anyway, but it wasn't too bad, was it?
Nein, it's good :)
